How to make shirt cupcakes fondant toppers

Things you'll need:

Blue fondant or 50/50
Yellow fondant or 50/50
Large circle cutter (the diameter should be the same size as the diameter of your cupcakes)
Paintbrush
Water for sticking pieces
Powdered sugar or cornstarch for dusting work area
Pizza cutter
Sharp knife

Step 1:
Dust your work area with some powdered sugar or cornstarch
Roll out the blue fondant and use a circle cutter to cut out a circular piece.

Step 2:
Also, use a pizza cutter to cut out 2 thin strips.
These will be the collars and button line of your shirts.

Step 3:
Brush some water around the top of your circular piece.
Stick one of the strips in the way I have shown below… and your collar is ready!
You can put some tissue in the center of the collar so that it holds its shape. But, I didn't have to do that.

Step 4:
To make the button line, cut off the ends of the other strip into a “pointy” shape.

Step 5:
Brush some water along the center of your shirt and stick this strip .
Cut off any excess with a knife.

Step 6:
To make a pocket, cut out a small rectangular piece.
Press the knife gently to create an indentation on the top

Step 7:
Brush some water on the side of your shirt and stick the pocket into place.

Step 8:
Roll out three little balls and press them along the button line. These are your shirt’s buttons. You can also roll out a VERY thin yellow strip and stick it along the pocket indentation to make it look nice.

And you are done! Give this a shot and I hope all of you have a great cuppie day :D

Happy caking!
